Following the success of this year’s tournament, the World Snooker Tour has announced that the Players Championship will return to Telford International Centre in 2025.<\/p>\n
Tickets go on sale on Tuesday, February 27th, and the tournament will take place from March 17\u201323, 2025.<\/p>\n
The top 16 players from the one-year ranking list compete in this event, one of three Players series events.<\/p>\n
Since the 2010 UK Championship, Shropshire has not hosted a snooker championship until this year’s event.<\/p>\n
Four-time world champion Mark Selby is competing in it right now. To get to the semi-finals, he defeated world No. 1 Ronnie O’Sullivan.<\/p>\n
Tuesday saw Telford receive accolades from world number two Judd Trump.<\/p>\n\n
