With two scorching forwards, the Bruins are finding new gear.

The Boston Bruins are currently leading the NHL standings thanks to the prolific scoring of two of their top six players.

Boston: It was one of the lowest points of the season for the Boston Bruins as they fell to the New York Islanders 5-1 on March 2. Not only for the group as a whole, but for two of its best players.

Pavel Zacha and Jake DeBrusk had been having a terrible time producing. Zacha had just three assists over the previous 11 games, making it his 11th straight game without a goal. With the exception of a two-point night against the Edmonton Oilers on February 21, DeBrusk had not scored in 14 of the previous 15 games.

The two were crucial members of the top six, and if the Bruins were to perform at their peak, they would have to start producing, but their decline seemed unstoppable. DeBrusk and Zacha are the team’s two hottest forwards two weeks and seven games later.

In Saturday’s 6-5 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers, DeBrusk scored a goal and provided an assist, bringing his total to four goals and five assists in the previous seven games, four of which saw him record a multi-point performance. But when questioned following the game, DeBrusk refused to admit that he was on a roll.

DeBrusk remarked, “I think I’ve been playing pretty well.” “I feel like everything is finally falling into my lap. .. The main distinction between my previous year and this one, in my opinion, is that this year has been full of opportunities, posts, and close plays. I also feel like I’ve been producing quite consistently throughout.
