Rio Ferdinand believes ‘devastating’ Liverpool player has ‘gone under the radar

Rio Ferdinand believes ‘devastating’ Liverpool player has ‘gone under the radar  Rio Ferdinand believes Liverpool and one of Jurgen Klopp’s star men have “gone under the radar” this season.

The Reds’ 3-0 defeat at Brentford on Sunday means they are just one point behind league leaders and reigning Premier League champions Manchester City.

Mo Salah struck for Thomas Frank’s side in our defeat, with former Manchester United defender Ferdinand calling the  King of Egypt a “destructive player”.

“Yes, Liverpool have gone under the radar a  bit, but that’s because they were good for a few years and then after a year off, people expected them to come back,” Ferdinand told his YouTube channel (via HITC).

“I think it’s a bit like Mo Salah. I think he has scored the most goals in the league this year since the 14-year-old Erling Haaland.

 – He is expected to score 30 goals in the season. That’s part of it. He’s a giant player otherwise.”

We are currently enjoying our best start to a Premier League season since  we were last crowned champions in the 2019/2020 season.

However, Jurgen Klopp’s side follow up with a trip to the Etihad to face reigning champions Manchester City. Salah’s goals at Anfield yesterday mean he now has 12 goals and four assists in 17 games (all competitions).

The 31-year-old seems to be getting stronger every season and we expect him to  find the net regularly for the rest of the campaign.           mpaign.
