Liverpool injury update: latest information and expected return dates for Mohamed Salah, Alisson, and Trent Alexander-Arnold

Even with an increasing number of injury concerns, Liverpool managed to resume winning ways over the weekend.

In the 3-1 victory over Burnley, Trent Alexander-Arnold was substituted out due to an exacerbation of a knee injury that had only recently kept him out of action.

The Reds were already without a trio of stars, including Alisson Becker, due to a flu outbreak in the squad.

There has been a positive update on Mohamed Salah recently, although the same cannot be said of Dominik Szoboszlai and Thiago Alcantara.

Liverpool will assess Alexander-Arnold this week after he aggravated the same knee injury which kept him sidelined for a spell last month.

Jurgen Klopp confirmed post-game that the right-back caught himself in the grass, forcing him to come off, as he offered a downbeat update on his condition.
