One “incredible” Premier League player is rumoured to be considering the opportunity to join Mikel Arteta at Arsenal.
Who has Arsenal brought in?
The north Londoners spent over £200 million on a quartet of marquee acquisitions in the summer in an effort to contend for another domestic championship this year. Declan Rice, an England player who signed a record-breaking £105 million transfer agreement from West Ham, is arguably the best of the lot. Jurrien Timber, a defender for the Netherlands who is presently sidelined by an injury, joined Rice, along with German striker Kai Havertz and goalkeeper David Raya.
As first team regulars for Arteta, Rice and Raya have already cemented their positions. Raya recently replaced longtime Arsenal custodian Aaron Ramsdale in the starting lineup. Despite receiving some criticism, Havertz just scored his first ever goal for Arsenal by converting a penalty in the team’s 4-0 victory over Bournemouth last weekend. After extremely unluckily tearing his ACL during Arsenal’s first league game, Timber has yet to show his ultimate potential.
