Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka: Arsenal injury updates and expected return dates before Man City

Bukayo Saka of Arsenal is still questionable with an injury ahead of Sunday’s vital Premier League matchup against Manchester City, the defending champions.

Leading up to tomorrow’s critical Premier League match against Manchester City, Arsenal has a lot of injury concerns. After staggering off the game during Tuesday night’s 2-1 loss to RC Lens in the UEFA Champions League, star winger Bukayo Saka is still questionable.

A huge encouragement for the Gunners comes from Mikel Arteta’s confirmation that the 22-year-old is still in the running to face Pep Guardiola’s team. Gabriel Martinelli, a fellow youthful attacker, has been sidelined for the better part of three weeks with a hamstring injury.

Saka Bukayo
Bukayo Saka kept his place in the Premier League by being selected for the match against Bournemouth last weekend after sitting out the Carabao Cup victory over Brentford in the middle of the week.

However, after netting the game’s first goal and taking a series of hard challenges in the second half, Saka hobbled off the play and was replaced by Fabio Vieira for the final 15 minutes.

Four days later, Saka started the match against RC Lens but was replaced after 33 minutes due to a possibly serious hamstring injury.
