Arsenal will likely be missing at least four first-team players against Bournemouth tomorrow because of the growing number of injuries.
Prior to the final training session this afternoon, Mikel Arteta announced that Declan Rice, Gabriel Martinelli, Leandro Trossard, and Bukayo Saka had all missed the Sunday’s North London derby against Tottenham.
Rice has experienced back pain, Martinelli strained his hamstring against Everton, Saka was knocked off against Spurs, and Trossard felt his hamstring in training.
That adds to Thomas Partey’s and Jurrien Timber’s extended absences, which is bad news for Fabio Vieira.
Following the extensive rotation in the 1-0 Carabao Cup victory over Brentford on Wednesday, it forces Arteta to make additional selections.
