The legendary Jamie Carragher of Liverpool has predicted that Arsenal would upset Manchester City in this weekend’s Premier League showdown between the two powerhouses. Tottenham Hotspur and the Gunners are currently second and third in the league with 17 points each after the same number of league games, while the Citizens are currently in first place with 18 points after seven games.
The defending champions will play at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, a venue where they have had great success and are unbeaten since December 2015. However, Mikel Arteta and company will be hoping that their victory in the Community Shield over Pep Guardiola’s team can offer them a benefit going into Sunday’s match in north London.
