Bukayo Saka left the pitch late in the Arsenal versus Spurs match with an apparent limp before being replaced by Emile Smith Rowe in the dying seconds of the 2-2 draw with the opposition.
Arsenal supporters worried about his availability for the Bournemouth game all week.
As Mikel Arteta’s presser was of little assistance.
A portion of me knew that when it was revealed that Saka had travelled to the south coast with the squad.
He was expected to play a significant role in the game, and he had a rather eventful performance, scoring the game’s first goal and dishing the ball off twice to Martin Odegaard and Kai Havertz.
Which would have meant that he could have scored a hat trick throughout the contest.
With a 3-0 lead, Arteta had the option to rest Saka and bring in Fabio Vieira because the game was already decided.
However, Saka continued playing for a few more minutes and appeared to make a change before being replaced by Vieira.
More controversy about his health before the Champions League match against RC Lens, and as expected,
Before going to the ground for the third straight game, Saka, who was on the plane to France, opened the match against the French team and provided an early assist to Gabriel Jesus.
Arteta stated in his post-game press conference that Vieira, who came on, was very ineffective, but this one appears to be particularly poor.
