Arsenal’s international players may be impacted by Chelsea’s Champions League match schedule.

After the international break, Arsenal’s first match is against Chelsea, and it will be interesting to observe how extended travel affects Gabriel Magalhaes, Gabriel Jesus, Kai Havertz, and Thomas Partey.

It’s safe to assume Arsenal won’t have the same luxury this time around if they enjoyed the benefits of a fixture change just after the September international break.

Think back to the previous month. The Gunners’ trip to Goodison Park was originally planned to take on Everton on Saturday, September 16, but it was postponed by one day due to the Newcastle United-related UEFA Champions League group stage draw.

While many supporters may not have been happy about the change in their travel arrangements, Gabriel Magalhaes, Gabriel Jesus, and Gabriel Martinelli—three of the sixteen senior players called up by their respective countries in September—were undoubtedly among Arsenal’s Brazilian supporters.
