Arsenal sends a physiotherapist to Ghana to monitor Thomas Partey

During the international break, Arsenal’s physiotherapist Simon Murphy is travelling to Ghana to monitor Thomas Partey.

This season, Partey has battled a groyne injury that has kept him out of four straight Premier League games. On Sunday, he made a comeback, starting the final fifteen minutes of the 1-0 victory over Manchester City.

The 30-year-old, who was crucial to Arsenal’s championship run the previous season, was also absent during the team’s victories in the Champions League against PSV and the Carabao Cup over Brentford.

With Partey’s groyne injury having only recently healed, Arsenal has chosen to dispatch physiotherapist Murphy to Ghana in order to prevent the condition from getting worse.
