David Raya, the custodian for Arsenal, has acknowledged that, having lived in England since he was 15, he would like to eventually move to La Liga.
The Spain international became the first choice ahead of Aaron Ramsdale when he joined the Gunners on a season-long loan from Brentford in the summer.
Arsenal’s stellar start to the 2023–24 Premier League season, which has seen the North Londoners and Tottenham Hotspur share the top spot after eight games, is mostly due to Raya.
The 28-year-old wants to keep his starting position at Emirates Stadium for as long as possible, but he may eventually return home to further his career.
