Arsenal faces a five-player forfeit in 2024 following the completion of a £27 million transfer deal.

Many first-team players at Arsenal will have contracts expire in the summer of 2024, therefore decisions will need to be made in the upcoming months.

Although Arsenal has recently been adept at negotiating contracts, up to five first-team players may walk away with nothing in 2024 when their contracts expire.

Under the direction of manager Mikel Arteta, sporting director Edu Gaspar, and director of football operations Richard Garlick—whose primary responsibility is to negotiate contracts with both new and current players—the Gunners have successfully negotiated the contracts of a number of important players over the last 12 months.

In actuality, in the last year, Aaron Ramsdale, William Saliba, Reiss Nelson, Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Magalhaes, and captain Martin Odegaard have all inked extensions.
