After a significant transfer hint, Arsenal is ‘opening talks’ to sign a ‘unbelievable’ player.

Ivan Toney, a striker for Brentford, is reportedly in talks with Arsenal and Chelsea to join him during the January transfer window.

After entering a guilty plea to 232 violations of the Football Association’s betting regulations, Toney was given an eight-month ban. He will not be allowed to play for Brentford again until January 17, 2024.

Days after resuming his football career, the 27-year-old returned to training with the Premier League team, but he is already being linked to a move away.

The Englishman has reportedly already sparked interest from Chelsea and Arsenal, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

“Chelsea is aware of the player’s circumstances, but Arsenal is also aware of the terms of a possible sale.

“Information requests have come from both clubs. We can currently assure you that Chelsea and Arsenal are aware of the circumstances.”
