After a 10-month break, an Arsenal midfielder is called up for international duty.

In an effort to help him get better again, Mohamed Elneny has received his first call-up from Egypt since suffering an injury.

Mohamed Elneny gets included in Egypt’s national team lineup for the upcoming international break for the first time since November 2022.

Elneny missed three Egypt international holidays due to a serious knee injury that kept him out of play for the majority of this season with Arsenal.

The 31-year-old, though, is back in action for Arsenal, having been called up five times to the first team squad and making an appearance against Brentford in the League Cup.

Egypt successfully qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations while the Arsenal midfielder was away, and he is now prepared to re-join the team.
