After a spectacular Jurgen Klopp call, Jamie Carragher makes fun of Tottenham with a claim about a Liverpool repeat.

Jamie Carragher is back to talk about Tottenham news as the impact from Saturday’s contentious win over Liverpool continues.

Jamie Carragher jokingly demanded a rematch between Tottenham and Liverpool after Jurgen Klopp, incredulously, repeated his opinions following the season’s most contentious game. The discussion over video referees and how justice might be served has been intensified by audio from Stockley Park and conversations between the officials at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium that was made public on Tuesday night.

Liverpool, who on Saturday night were unfairly denied a goal shortly after going down to ten men, have made their views known by requesting the audio, and Klopp, who attacked the decision-making process throughout Spurs’ 2-1 victory, has intensified his attack.

The German remarked before Liverpool’s Europa League match against Union Saint-Gilloise on Thursday, “As far as I can remember, something like that never happened, so I think a replay should be played.” We must not lose sight of the fact that they did not intend to do it.

“Yes, a mistake was made. An evident error. There probably would have been remedies. I believe a replay should be the result. Most likely won’t occur.

It follows the first widely acclaimed VAR offside determination since the Premier League implemented it in 2019. It has sparked a discussion about what can be done after the game, which has given Klopp the idea of a repeat.

Gary Neville has been jokingly addressed by Carragher, who on Saturday called out the PGMOL on social media. Neville was the one who responded to Klopp’s comments regarding the replay.
