In a remarkable act of generosity that has captured national attention, Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Ty Simpson has announced that he will donate his entire $102.9 million bonus and sponsorship earnings to build a 150-unit homeless shelter initiative in his home state of Tennessee. The project, officially named “The Simpson Strong Foundation Housing Initiative,” will establish a massive 150-unit complex designed to provide stable housing, healthcare access, and job training opportunities to individuals and families struggling with homelessness. The shelter will be located in Martin, Tennessee, not far from where Simpson grew up, making the move deeply personal for the young star.

During a press conference at Bryant–Denny Stadium, Simpson shared the emotional motivation behind his decision.
