Following the success of this year’s tournament, the World Snooker Tour has announced that the Players Championship will return to Telford International Centre in 2025.

Tickets go on sale on Tuesday, February 27th, and the tournament will take place from March 17–23, 2025.

The top 16 players from the one-year ranking list compete in this event, one of three Players series events.

Since the 2010 UK Championship, Shropshire has not hosted a snooker championship until this year’s event.

Four-time world champion Mark Selby is competing in it right now. To get to the semi-finals, he defeated world No. 1 Ronnie O’Sullivan.

Tuesday saw Telford receive accolades from world number two Judd Trump.
